At the International Fluid Power Society, Gra-V and eight other FIRST teams presented to the society in order to introduce our teams and perform our team cheers. During Gra-V's presentation, we announced our goals for the 2016 - 2017 season. We plan to hold our second FRC Scrimmage, host a FTC competition, and host a Young Women in STEM workshop for local Orange County girls. After the presentation, the Fluid Power Society held a pneumatic competition for a cash prize. The competition was to tune a catapult's angle and power by using pneumatics. The goal of the game was to use the tuned catapult to throw a beanbag into a cornhole board. Having the beanbag stay on the board was one point, while getting into the board was three. We ended up getting 9 of the available 15 points and scoring ourselves second place.
Thank you so much to the Fluid Power Society for holding this event for FIRST teams every year at the meeting place and at the Orlando Regional.
